An outstanding career opportunity has arisen for a Care Co-Ordinator to join the Aylecare team at our very busy office in Gorseinon.

Do you have a strong administration background within the care industry and the ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively?

Do you have previous experience of hands on care within the domiciliary sector, carrying out initial assessments, risk assessment, care planning, & reviews? Do you want to be part of an organisation that strives to be excellent in all manners of its care delivery?

You need to be calm, collected, motivated, well organised and possess good IT skills. You will also need the ability to time manage and multi task effectively whilst being a great communicator. Your job will entail working alongside service users and care givers, scheduling visits and staff rota’s, participating in the rota for manning the out of hours line and dealing with enquiries. Ensuring all care packages are managed effectively. You will work closely with the Management team to ensure a smooth running and high standard service to all our service users and staff.

You will ensure correct service user / care givers matching, check you know of all our care givers to be able to identify the most suitable care givers for our service users’ needs. Manage the service user and staff database. Ability to work well under pressure as tough decisions will sometimes have to be made regarding staff allocation.

A current driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential and you must be willing to undertake care calls and take part in the out of hours rota.

The ideal candidate will be logical and be able to build excellent relationships with service users / care givers / management & stakeholders.
